Our Story

 

Hi friends!

We are Janelle and Jonathan, owners and founders of Warehaus! We are a fearsome, vintage loving, married duo for over 10 years, the proud parents of 2 special little nuggets; Sebastian our baby boy, Lincoln our fur baby and we love everything about what we do! We are small (but mighty) family-run small business with our focus being to bring our local, loyal customer family the best vintage we can find, in an environment that is both approachable, comfortable and affordable for everyone.

In 2019 we opened up our industrial warehouse space to the public after being a primarily online business for 8 years. At the suggestion from a few of our really cool customers who were excited to shop more of our unlisted inventory in person, we made the decision to bring you all into our creative little world and Warehaus was born!

We quickly realized that not only did we need a bigger and prettier space to display our goods, but one that would not give us all heat stroke (we didn’t have air conditioning in our old building, we don’t know how we survived either!) So fast-track to 2020, here we are in our brand new brick and mortar home in the heart of Orlando, FL, in a space we fully renovated (in the dead of summer mind you) all by ourselves with nothing but sheer determination driving us. Half showroom/half workshop, we source and restore the neatest vintage goods we can find. We carefully source our collections from all over the state of Florida, either by estate buy-outs, auctions, or simply pounding the pavement in search of these unique items from the past. This business has shown us that older things were built to last the test of time and the nature of the unique artisans from all parts of the world.

We love that this encourages our generation, and ones that follow, to shop sustainably and ethically as it is such a huge part of our future!
